Downtown Samana and Harbor Revitalization
Harbor Work has virtually come to a standstill since the last Update in May, '01.  A construction crane has been seen by Samana Net periodically installing concrete piling and revetment in the marina complex, but even this activity has now seemed to cease.

 New Construction
The downtown site for the business complex and the new Metro and Caribe Tours bus terminal was cleared and leveled late in August and then all construction ceased.   The site awaits further development.
