Marine Services

 Several marine transportation companies offer scheduled passenger service from Samana to Sabana de la Mar across the bay.

Ferry Services

 A car ferry is planned for the Samana to Sabana de la Mar crossing, but until docking facilities are constructed at each terminus, this service is not in operation.
BE AWARE!
There isn't a dock on the Sabana de la Mar side of the bay. In addition to your transferring to a small boat to continue the rest of the crossing to the shore, you WILL probably be asked for an ADDITIONAL fare to ride in these small boats, sometimes as much or more than you paid to cross the bay
