   From Santo Domingo:
 Caribe Tours has buses leaving at 7:00, 8:30 and 10:00 am, also there are buses at 1:30, 2:30 and 4:00 pm to Samaná.

 Sanchez Bus Stop Tel: 809-552-7434(Spanish only). This stop is for Las Terrenas.

 Metro Bus lines is NO longer serving Samaná Peninsula, only Santiago and Puerto Plata.


 From Santiago:
  "Transporte PEPE" Tel:582-2134 or 582-5709 (Spanish only) has buses daily to Samaná, departing Santiago at 8:00a.m., 9:30a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 2:30p.m. from the bus stop on Pedro Francisco Bonó street, one block from San Luis.
 One direct bus to Las Terrenas at 3:00p.m.
 Bus driver will stop on request, but will not stop to pick up more passangers on the route to Samana.

 From Puerto Plata:
 "Colibri", "Papagayo" and "Transporte El Canario", are all private buses, leaving Puerto Plata early in the morning.
 "Transporte Papagayo", a maroon colour bus (picture) with PUERTO PLATA - SAMANA writen on the windshield, leave Puerto Plata at 6:45 a.m. from the front of the Hospital in Puerto Plata.  This bus pass by Sosua around 7:00a.m.(Will stop on request to pick up passangers in front of Playero Supermarket), continue to Nagua and arrive in Sanchez around 9:30a.m.-10:00a.m. Sanchez is the stop for Las Terrenas.  This route ends in Samana at 10:30a.m. and depart back to Puerto Plata at 2:00.p.m. To contact owner cell:(809) 749-6415(Spanish only) for his schedule.

 "Transporte El Canario" or the "Chicken Bus", light blue colour bus don't have a every day route, whenever the owner whants to do a run he will do'it.  "Transporte El Canario" will stop in Sosua to pick up more passangers on the same place as others, in front of Playero Supermarket.  "Colibri" bus, don't have much information exempt that his route is Puerto Plata to Samana and depart Puerto Plata early in the morning from the Hospital in POP.
Same private busses leave Samaná to Puerto Plata daily. Consult with the driver at what time he will depart Samana.
