Several marine transportation companies offer scheduled passenger service from Samana to Sabana de la Mar across the bay.

There isn't a dock on the Sabana de la Mar side of the bay. In addition to your transferring to a small boat to continue the rest of the crossing to the shore, you WILL probably be asked for an ADDITIONAL fare to ride in these small boats, sometimes as much or more than you paid to cross the bay.
